Semi-Submarine Excursion (Seascope)

Overview

Discover the underwater wonders of the Red Sea while staying comfortably dry: perfect for families, children and non-swimmers. The boat has an open upper deck for the coastal views and a lower cabin 3–4 metres below sea level, with air conditioning, comfortable seats and wide panoramic windows that make you feel inside a natural aquarium.

Day programme

1. 1

   Hotel pick-up: transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle to the boarding pier.

2. 2

   Scenic sailing: a short run out to the richest and most pristine coral areas of the coast.

3. 3

   45–60 min

   In the underwater deck: down into the panoramic cabin with individual windows to admire thousand-year-old corals, clownfish, butterflyfish, moray eels, rays and turtles, with a guide on board explaining the marine life.

4. 4

   Sun deck and relaxation: back up to the open deck on the way home to enjoy the sea breeze and photograph the coast.

5. 5

   Return: disembarking at the harbour and a direct transfer back to your resort.

• No swimsuit needed: you stay completely dry!
• Comfortable, light clothing
• A phone or camera — no flash, for clean shots through the glass
• Sunglasses and a hat for the time spent on the upper deck
