Overview

Feel the thrill of the Sinai dunes with the comfort, safety and stability of driving behind a wheel. A two-seat buggy is ideal for couples or two friends, while the four-seat family buggy — with protective roll cage and 4-point belts — is perfect for families and groups who want to share one vehicle in complete safety.

Day programme

  1. 1

    Hotel pick-up: transfer in an air-conditioned minivan to the safari base.

  2. 2

    Driving briefing: a simple explanation of the controls — easy to drive, automatic gearbox — and fitting of the keffiyeh against dust and sand.

  3. 3

    45–60 min

    Desert driving: an adrenaline route through rocky valleys, sand tracks and dry riverbeds (wadi), led by an experienced pathfinder.

  4. 4

    Valley of Echoes: a scenic stop among the mountain gorges to hear the famous natural echo and take breathtaking photos.

  5. 5

    Bedouin tent: a shaded break with authentic hot Bedouin tea made with local herbs (habak).

  6. 6

    Back to the motor base and direct return to your resort.

What to bring

  • Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty, and closed shoes (no flip-flops)
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water
  • A sweatshirt or light jacket for early-morning or evening departures in winter
  • Driving allowed from age 18; children are welcome as passengers in complete safety
