Night departure: hotel pick-up and travel on a modern Gran Turismo coach with air conditioning, reclining seats and a toilet (about 6–7 hours with refreshment stops along the way).
Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): arrival in Cairo in the morning and meeting with the Egyptologist guide. A visit to the largest archaeological museum in the world — the monumental atrium with the colossal statue of Ramses II, the majestic Grand Staircase and the extraordinary main galleries.
Oriental lunch: a buffet or set-menu stop in a selected restaurant serving typical local dishes.
Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx: a close-up visit to the plateau with the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, a stop at the desert viewpoint for photos, then the Valley Temple and the enigmatic Sphinx.
